In My Opinion:
I fell in love with the main character, Shahrzad, from the very beginning. Her strength & confidence makes her the perfect heroine for the story. We sympathize with her from start to finish. I found myself on the edge of my seat numerous times. As well as laughing at her quick wit & attitude on more than one occasion.
The story telling within the book was mesmerizing. I felt as if I was sitting there as the words were being spoken directly to me. There was a steady flow of events & I never found myself bored with the context. With each page, I simply wanted more!
Shahrzad (Shazi), was not the only character I grew fond of while reading this epic tell of love & vengeance. Every character I read about turned out to be someone who was wonderfully written. Even if in a mischievous way. They all had their place in the story & added to it's success as a whole.
I would definitely recommend The Wrath & the Dawn to anyone looking for a book full of love, wonderful characters, & brilliant story telling. The only downfall that I can honestly say came with reading this book is the fact that the next book does not come out until the middle of next year. I truly felt incomplete once I closed the book for the last time.
My Rating:
5 Cups of Tea (One of the Best!!)
