6 Children's Books About Pit Bulls

Not only is October Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but it's also Pit Bull Awareness Month.  Since I'm the proud momma of 2 Pit Bull "breeds" I couldn't let this month pass without sharing some related books.  In this post, you'll find 6 children's books about Pit Bulls.  Let's teach the younger generation how to treat these loving dogs.  Let's do away with the bad stigma surrounding the breed that was once given the task of being nanny dogs.

Peanut The Pitbull (Volume 1) by Thomas Andrew Athanasiou

"See what happens when a smart little pitbull gets adopted by a wonderful family. This great, colorfully illustrated book helps teach young ones about the joy of choosing to adopt a pet, also touching upon the responsibilities of dog ownership, as well as the unfair practice of breed specific discrimination. Ultimately, Peanut The Pitbull shows how rewarding it can be to add a rescued dog to your family. -- Oh yes, did we forget to mention that it also is a great, heart warming story too!" -Courtesy of Amazon.com
