Sinfully sexy Travis De Luca came into Remi's life when she
was young, inexperienced, and easily dazzled. With his
scandalous words and wickedly sexy grins, he possessed a
power no one should have over another. He was a foul
mouthed, trouble-making thug to everyone else, but she'd
witnessed the vulnerable side he hid so well. After one earth-
shattering experience and his declaration of love, her body
and soul were hooked.
When Travis is sent away without warning, Kristiano De Luca
—his equally sexy cousin—comes into Remi's life as a friend
when she needs one most. After years with no word and waiting for
Travis to come back, she loses hope, and the friendship she's built
with Kris grows into something beautiful that fills the void Travis left behind.
But a surprise return from Travis and one passionate night
with him throw all their lives into chaos, and nothing will
ever be the same again.
I was contacted by the author with the chance to review this book. She explained that she was a Bestselling Author who had written Remi's Choice under a new pen name due to cheating being present in the plot. Since I personally am not bothered by the presence of cheating in a well written book, I chose to give it a try.
As soon as I met Travis, I was hooked. There was just something about the bad boy with a vulnerable side that made me swoon. (I'm even blushing thinking about him right now) The draw between Remi and Travis is both sexy and sweet. Both wrapped into one. It
Kristiano De Luca gave me all sorts of feels. He's ideal in every way but... like Remi, I was completely hung up on Travis. One minute I was pulling for Kristiano. The next I was crying over the fact that Travis wasn't there. There's no questioning why Remi finds herself in the heated middle of a conundrum upon Travis' surprising return to town.
I loved how REAL this book is. The characters. The situations. All the emotions. Not all relationships are cut & dry. Not everything works out as perfect as planned. Life is usually not simple. With this all being said- One thing did work out really well... This book!
