I Have a Confession...

I want to start this post by saying that this is one of the hardest things I've ever shared with anyone. I've debated (for quite a while) on if I even wanted to throw this one 'secret' out into the universe. For the longest while, the answer was 'No way!'. As time continues to pass however, I'm beginning to believe that the only way to work through this specific problem is to share it with you guys.

Please be delicate with me about this. It's something I'm not proud of & only a few close friends are aware of. Okay... Are you ready to be shocked?

Here we go -

I, Jessica Bevil, have never read any of the Harry Potter books.

I'll give you a minute to digest this. I know you're probably thinking "What?! How could this be?" Well, I really can't say. I mean- procrastination, maybe? Hesitation, possibly. There's a part of me that knows I'll more than likely enjoy it but what if I don't? It wouldn't be the end of the world, of course, but still.... I keep putting it off.

These books are literally everywhere. I see people taking the Harry Potter House quizzes all the time. The merchandise is everywhere & the movies draw just as much hype. I mean- people of all ages are Harry Potter Obsessed... except for me. 

Why haven't I changed this? I really do not know. I see the books everywhere I go. Walmart. Books a Million. Online. It'd be so simple to start the series. But yet here I sit... 18 years after the hardcover edition of Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone was first released in the United States. 

So why have I chose to finally come public with this little confession? Well, I'm hoping that you guys can give me enough reason to dive into this super popular series. Harass me until I get to it. +Chop, Chop+ What are you waiting on? I need you to give me that little push because apparently, I'm never going to get around to it on my own.
