Hello!
I wanted to take some time to check in & catch everyone up on what I've been up to. As you can see, I've obviously not been active on here for quite a while.... Here's why:
That's right folks! We finally got moved into the new house. (This picture is, of course, from right before we moved in) It was such a long & sometimes depressing journey but we were finally able to move in on August 28th 😁And let me just tell you- It was totally worth the wait! The only thing that could make it better is when I'm able to actually start putting my office together... Tax refund time can't get here fast enough.
I've also been enjoying spending time with the two youngest while I've been away. Charleigh Grace is 4 now. This means that it's my last year to spend with her before she heads off to Kindergarten next year. It's a bittersweet time for me. I'm going to miss having her around but on the other hand, I just may get more blogging & reading done.... maybe.
That's a big maybe because of my lil' man. He will be turning 8 months old in a few days. It's insane how much time has flown by. He's already low crawling all over the house, cutting his first 2 teeth, & saying 'mama' & 'dada'. I'm not going to lie- I'm sad sometimes thinking about how he's probably going to be my last baby.
Maybe that explains my sudden jump into hyper-drive where my hobbies are concerned.
Speaking of hobbies- I guess I should just jump in and let you know what all I have going on at the moment...
1. I'm here. Trying to get back into book blogging. Reviews & other bookish things are in the near future. After all, there have been tons of books that I've read this year that I just HAVE to share.
2. My Instagram account is becoming more active. Check it out to find book related photos & photos of my numerous pets. My current goal is to gain more followers & up my bookish photo game.
3. I'm planning to participate in NANOWRIMO next month. Who knows, maybe this year I'll actually get something done. hahahaha.... High Hopes, buddy. That's what I've got.
4. Writing has begun on a recent children's book idea. My husband's best friend is going to be doing the illustrations for me. I'll try to keep everyone updated via here & my Instagram account. So keep your eye out. I'm super excited about this project & we both feel that it could become a real hit.
