I decided to check this out one night on a whim. (It's FREE to read w/ Amazon Prime) I had heard it recommended by a lot of people but never really planned on reading it. The smallest kiddo wouldn't sleep though & like I mentioned, it is free since I have Amazon Prime. So... I downloaded it & dove in.
Please don't let me mediocre rating discourage you. I gave 3 stars because I feel this story is just starting out. There's no doubt in my mind that the volumes that follow are even more awesome than the first. The 5 leading ladies of this series are wonderfully unique & so are their varying types of friendships with one another. I also enjoyed the side characters who also make appearances.
Each encounter is perfectly portrayed by artist Brook Allen. She does a spectacular job of adding even more magic to an already magical series of occurrences.
I highly recommend checking out this series. Especially if you take interest in kick a$$ ladies. Such as I do.
